Problems with auto-rickshaw walas should end atleast from now. Yes the government has revised the rates and as per the latest release it has been fixed Rs.14 for first two km and Rs.6 for every km then after. Now if the driver asks for more then you can lodge a complaint and it will be attended immediately.
Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Sunil Kumar says that in the event of any dispute that may arise between a commuter and an auto driver, the public can inform the traffic control room (103) or 044-26445511, 26444445, 26445959, 22325555, 26670993, 26732525, 26215969, 24894466, 24867733 or SMS at 98418-08123. Complainants should furnish details such as the registration number, date and time of travel, originating and destination points.
